About The Delivery Driver Position:

We are looking to grow our "hive" with people who share our energy and enthusiasm for making it possible for everyone to experience a sustainable moving journey.

HiveBoxx seeks a safe driver and customer service expert for part-time positions to join our team. Moving is stressful and we reduce that stress for our customers and the planet. We rent out thousands of reusable moving boxes every month (Note: We are not a moving company - We are the sustainable moving supply specialist and our business is centered around our reusable tree-free moving boxes).

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Deliver our reusable plastic moving boxes and other sustainable products to homes and offices while meeting productivity standards and completing work in a timely manner
• Resolve customer service concerns 
• Wear company uniform each shift and maintain a neat and clean appearance at all times
• Maintain cleanliness of truck, perform pre and post-trip inspections of truck daily, and add fuel, oil, and fluids to truck as necessary
• Follow directions but work independently while maintaining a high level of customer service, productivity, and self-motivation
• Customer interaction is constant and this position requires outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to operate a smartphone/tablet computer
• Control inventory and handle purchase orders for daily deliveries based on standing orders and projected sales

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• Previous delivery and customer service experience is preferred
• Insurable driving record is a must-have
• Ability to lift or move 50 lbs up and down stairs and be in and out of truck constantly throughout the day
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Excellent history of customer interaction
• Work cooperatively with management, colleagues, partners, and most importantly customers and potential customers
• Ability to problem-solve with speed, to completion, and responsibly follow up
• Familiarity with the greater Seattle area and ability to follow driving directions
• Must be able to maintain a fast, physical pace while making accurate deliveries and operating the HiveBoxx truck safely
