Job Summary:
Dialysis Nurse specializing in Hemodialysis treatments is sought for a unit located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing care for patients with End-Stage Renal Disease and Acute Kidney Injuries, following established protocols to deliver high-quality dialysis services. The position offers a dynamic environment with a focus on patient-centered care and collaborative teamwork.

Job Details:

• Shift: Monday through Saturday dayshift, with a combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts to meet the minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: BLS (American Heart Association); minimum of 1 year of dialysis experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Perform Hemodialysis treatments in the dialysis unit following SOPs; utilize EPIC electronic medical records system. The unit averages about 20 patients per day, with a team of 6-7 nurses and 1 MD specializing in AKI and ESRD care. Orientation includes 3 shifts. Shift hours are 12 hours, but a combination of 8 and 12 hours can be arranged. Willingness to cover every Saturday and participate in holiday rotations, including Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day, is required. Call or standby duties may be part of the role. Dress code is royal blue and white scrubs.
